Nature and Wildlife Photography

I have been an avid nature photographer for over 40 years, but my approach and purpose for capturing images of wildlife, wildflowers, and landscapes has evolved from taking pictures to supplement lectures in the college courses I taught in ecology and environmental science, to paying greater attention to composition, color, and content. My portfolio includes many landscape and wildlife images printed using the best-quality, pigment-based inks on archival quality papers in sizes ranging from 5x7 inches to 17x22 inches. Several of my favorite images are available framed or on metal. Metal images range in size from 10x30 inches, to 24x36 inches. Special orders welcomed, of course.

In this hectic world, our frenzied schedules seldom allow time for quiet, reflective moments in nature. My overarching goal is to capture and produce images that are awe-inspiring, and thereby encouraging viewers to experience the restorative powers of nature through the views, the birds, the bees, and all that is wonderful out there, and worthy of our careful intentional stewardship!
