Building a Community

Pagosa Springs is home to an abundance of talented and creative people. In an effort to bring the creative folks together, resident ceramic artist Mark Epstein, decided to put together an Artists Studio Tour. With the hard work of Rosanna Dufour of PJ's Fine Bamboo Rods , a foundation was established that will enable the Pagosa Springs Artists Studio Tour to continue on for years to come. As a participant in the tour, artists are welcomed and encouraged to meet up and share ideas about their art, be a helping hand if another needs one, and feel comfortable asking for assistance from fellow artists. In 2025, under the direction of artist Kathie Disner, The Pagosa Springs Artists Studio Tour became it's own 501(c)3, widening the possibilities for future growth in arts education as well as community outreach. While not a formal art guild, opportunities are available for the tour artists to develop and participate in other events, such as the Paint Pagosa Plein Air Festival, the Holiday Bazaar at the High School and what would you like to see next?
